Oil Tank Installation & Replacement

Pre-installation
1. Initial site survey
This includes a risk assessment, advice and free quotation.
Day of Installation
2. Empty current tank
Our first job is to turn off the boiler to avoid any potential air locks. We then proceed to empty the current tank on site and pump the oil into clear holding tanks, this is to separate any clean fuel from water, muck or slurry.

3. Disposal of old tank
Once the tank is emptied, it is ready to removed, disposed and recycled, along with any contaminated waste.

4. Construct base
Supply and construct a new concrete slab base to accommodate the new oil tank and to meet with current regulations.

5. Installation
Installation of the new oil tank, including the new valve and filters and reconnecting or installing the pipework. Original fuel is filtered from the holding tanks into the new oil tank and a new wireless electronic gauge is installed to monitor your oil levels.

6. Testing
We reignite the boiler and test for air locks.
Day of Installation
7. All done!
Once the installation has been completed and the boiler has been tested we tidy away any mess and leave the site as it was found.
